You will lead the aerothermal and thermal protection workstream. The work spans analysis, materials, and test reconciliation.

You will sit at the interface between our research collaboration and the build team - and translate findings into hardware that operates reliably across the supersonic envelope.

The work

What you will do.

  • Own the aerothermal envelope across interceptor variants.
  • Drive TPS material selection, testing, and integration.
  • Bridge proprietary IP from the research collaboration into the production article.
  • Stand up the in-house aerothermal capability so BOS is not dependent on external review.

The fit

What we look for.

  • Graduate-level work in aerothermodynamics, high-temperature materials, or a related field.
  • Real supersonic analytical experience.
  • Published technical work a plus.
  • Comfortable in a small team where you write code and also handle samples.
